As part of the 25th Anniversary celebrations the club commissioned a series of limited edition local private owner wagons from Dapol. These were made available to non-members and have sold well. Hence more wagons have been commissioned, some of which are still available. Each comes with a special numbered certificate.

News Flash
We have repeated the joint project with the Bluebell Railway, and have taken delivery of a new batch of the SR United Dairies six-wheel milk tankers. This uses the livery of a restored wagon, which re-entered service on the Bluebell Railway in 2005. Special numbered certificates have been produced for each wagon. For this edition, the walkways on the tank top has been omitted.
The picture below shows samples from the original batch.
These milk tankers are available to non-members at £16.00 plus post & packing charges (cheques only - see below).
Note: as usual we are restricted by the body mouldings available to Dapol
Unfortunately, we have long since sold all of the original batch of the United Dairies milk tank wagon. There are none available in the Bluebell Railway shop at Sheffield Park either.
The four plank open wagons to match the earlier Llanharry covered lime wagons are still available. These use the new Dapol four plank moulding and the ironwork has been picked out in black, which has increased the cost.
We are selling the open wagons to non-club members at £8.00 each plus post & packing charges (cheques only - see below).
Note: as usual we are restricted by the body mouldings available to Dapol
Currently available wagons:
The following wagons are also still
available to non-club members at £7.00 each plus post & packing (cheques only - see below).
Davies Brothers of Crumlin.
Also a new supply of T.L.Williams of Penarth & Aberthaw has been made available to us by Dapol

Please note: these wagons depict authentic liveries recorded in the official Gloucester wagon archives. However, due to the limitations of the moulds available to Dapol, the wagons are not correct. In particular, the underframe should be wooden, instead of steel. Also where appropriate, the ironwork on the body should be painted black.
Barry Coal Company and Leadbeter of Newport and Cardiff coal wagons are now sold out, as are the Milk Marketing Board tank wagons in wartime grey livery - sorry.
Post and packing charges
All wagons are wrapped in bubble pack and sent in cardboard boxes via Royal Mail, using recorded delivery.

We have exhausted our supply of the SR United Dairies milk tank, based on the new six wheel milk tanker. This uses the livery of a restored wagon, which entered service on the Bluebell Railway in 2005. This was a joint project with the Bluebell, which was reflected in the special numbered certificate with each wagon.
